Installing TurboTV Software
Macintosh
The installer is a simple, single-click method for installing
TurboTV. The Installer allows you to install all of the software
and on-line documentation necessary for running and using TurboTV.
The on-line documentation provides information on using the TurboTV
interface, including changing channels, and capturing video. Double-click
on the TurboTV Manual file in the TurboTV folder to launch the
on-line documentation. You will need Adobe's Acrobat Reader to
open the TurboTV manual. If you do not already have Acrobat Reader,
a self extracting copy has been included. Double click on the
Acrobat Reader installer in the TurboTV folder to install.
The CD software package also contains third-party video capture
and editing software. Please refer to the on-line documentation
which accompanies the software for information on its use.
1 - Start up your computer.
2 - Insert the TurboTV CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
3 - Double-click on the TurboTV Installer icon. The TurboTV
Installation dialog appears.
4 - Follow the instructions on your screen.

Windows 95
Plug & Play Driver installation
TurboTV is a Plug & Play device. Upon installation of the
TurboTV card, the operating system will recognize that a new Plug
& Play device has been installed. Before the TurboTV software
can be installed, your system will need to load the TurboTV drivers,
update the system registry, and reboot.
1 - Start up your computer.
Updating system registry
2 - Your system will report that new hardware has been
found. Click next. In the Update Device Driver Wizard dialog box.
The Update Device Driver Wizard will ask to locate new drivers.
Select Other Locations.
3 - Insert the TurboTV CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive and
select browse from the dialog box and select CD-ROM drive.
4 - Browse the CD-ROM drive and select on the TurboTV directory
and select OK.
5 - Click OK on the select Other Location dialog box.
6 - Select finish on the Update Device Driver Wizard dialog
box
Installing TurboTV Drivers
7 - The insert disk dialog will appear. Click OK to continue.
8 - The copying files dialog box will appear, select browse.
9 - Select CD-ROM drive.
10 - Select TurboTV directory.
11 - Click OK in the open dialog box. The TurboTV drivers
will copy to your system.
12 - Remove the CD-ROM from the drive and select Yes when
Windows asks if you wish to restart your computer.
Turbo TV Software Installation
TurboTV install allows you to install all of the software and
on-line documentation necessary for running and using TurboTV.

on using the TurboTV interface, including changing channels, and
capturing video and sound. Double-click on the TurboTV manual.pdf
file in root directory of the CD-ROM to launch the on-line documentation.

13 - After your system has rebooted you are ready to install
the TurboTV software. Insert the CD-ROM into the CDROM drive.
If your computer is configured for Autorun, the installation dialog
automatically appears and you can skip to step 18.
14 - Click select Windows Start button and then select
Run The Run dialog appears.
15 - Click Browse and double-click Start.exe on your CD-ROM
drive.
16 - When the Run dialog re-appears, click OK.
17 - The TurboTV Installation dialog appears.
18 - Follow the instructions on your screen.
